Lahore : Ehsas For Life , a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO)
presented Women Empowerment Festival at Amanah Mall Lahore.
Mr Shahid Nazir, Vice President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and social media stars, was the chief guest.
Chaudhary Shahid Nazir gave a very strong message as a chief guest to empower women in Pakistan. Mr Shahid Nazir in his address to the audience of the event said women in Pakistan make more than 50 % of its population and it plays a key role in socio-economic development of the country. He added that in today’s world , the need to empower womenfolk and equipe them to play its pivotal role in progress and well-being of the society. He argued that women deserve more appropriate status to make Pakistan’s society forward going in the real term.
Chaudhary Shahid Nazir noted that sometimes women in our society get unfair treatment and they are subjected to social injustice and stressed that a mindset of male showiam must end. He advocated that moment must be empowered in such a way that they could play their due role in progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
Bangra king singer RIZI RJ performed for the audience. His bangra performance was widely liked by the participants of the event.
Ahsas for Life NGO holds such events off and on to make the society of Pakistan realise that it was a necessity to add womenfolk in its ambit for real social and economic progress of the society. The participants of the Lahore event acknowledged the efforts of Ahsas for Life –NGO– and called for more such events to create more space for women and make them empower in both social and
economic fronts.
