Berlin (Germany) : April 25,2024: A delegation led by Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) Europe chief organiser and prominent Pakistani businessman in Germany, Syed Khurram Raza Kazmi , held a meeting with Pakistan’s ambassador to Germany, Syeda Suqlain, at Pakistan’s embassy in Berlin. The delegation was comprised of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of a number of German companies , prominent Pakistani businessmen and imminent personalities of German and Pakistani business community. The delegation discussed with the ambassador various proposals aimed at attracting foreign investment for Pakistan, besides addressing the energy crisis of Pakistan by providing Pakistan solar solutions . Syed Khurram Raza Kazmi informed the ambassador that a numbers of German companies are interested in investing in Pakistan to help it address its energy crisis. He said that other than investing in solar solutions many German companies are also interested in investing in Pakistan’s housing sector to provide affordable housing to the people of Pakistan. He apprised to the ambassador that ex pat Pakistanis have always played a key role in Pakistan’s development and prosperity of its people. Syed Khurram Raza Kazmi added that like always ex pat Pakistanis are willing to rise to the occasion and play their role in addressing the serious issues like energy crisis in Pakistan. He maintained that with addressing the energy crisis and making cheaper energy availability in Pakistan its exports will increase substantially, besides improving its image globally. Ambassador Syeda Suqlain appreciated the ideas of the members of the delegation and assured them full support on behalf of his good office to facilitate any German companies for investing in Pakistan. She also assured to the delegation that its proposals for investing in Pakistan’s solar sector will be sent to the government of Pakistan for consideration .. The ambassador hoped that the German companies and ex pat Pakistani businessmen will get positive response for their proposals from Islamabad for investing in Pakistan. Syed Khurram Raza Kazmi thanked the embassador for providing an opportunity to the delegation to share their plans for investing in Pakistan.
