ISLAMABAD : Jan 10, 2023: The Federal Education Department has changed school timings. A notification was issued here on Tuesday.
The new school timings will be effective from January 11,2023.
According to the new schedule single shift school will operate from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm. On Friday, the school timings will be from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm
In double shift schools, morning shift timings will be 8.00 am to 1.30 pm. On Friday school timings will be from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm.
Evening shift timings will be from 1.30 to 7.00 and on Friday timings will be 2.30 pm to 7.00 pm.
The notification said the school timings has been changed keeping in mind severe winter season.
Earlier , the federal government had extended winter holidays for its educational institutions for.a week.
The federal educational institutions will reopen on Wednesday after winter holidays.
