The two iconic personalities in conversation Sunday 25th July 1800 hrs, Honourable Hussain Abdullah Haroon the progeny of Sir Haji Abdullah Haroon, and Tahir Ayub Khan the youngest and closest son of Late Field Marshall Ayub Khan, whose developmental contribution in every field during Pakistan’s infantile stage was commendable that put Pakistan on the path to industrial progress by leaps and bounds.
Ironically, everything was reversed through the subsequent nationalisation process of a truly democratic dispensation headed by Late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who prided himself as the First Civilian Marshall Administrator than a true democrat till the country was radicalised in the backdrop of the Soviet Union intervention in the neighbouring Afghanistan.
The rest is our unfortunate history that is tinted with blood to protect our erstwhile alley the United States of America till we were betrayed and left alone after the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan .
We are once more on the cross roads of a challenging situation as we are again left alone to cope with the fast changing political environment in our back yard i. e. Afghanistan, the stability of which is directly related to Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
It is these challenging environment that one doesn’t need empty vessels to make more noise than sense but people of substance like Honourable Hussain Abdullah Haroon, to prevail upon the arrogant Americans to back off and give peace a chance then shed more blood at the cost of triggering more violence and instability.

Pakistan need to stand on its own feet, the faster the better and the world better facilitate it then invest into proxies to create instability that will ultimately be counter productive for the global security. .
