Jeddah — A grand dinner was hosted in honor of senior PML-N leader and former Member of Punjab Assembly, Mian Tahir Jamil, who hails from Faisalabad. The reception was organized by Mian Rizwan-ul-Haq, Chairman of PML-N Jeddah Region, and presided over by Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Gujjar, Chairman of PML-N Saudi Arabia.
The event saw the participation of a large number of PML-N office-bearers and workers.
In their welcome remarks, Mian Rizwan-ul-Haq and Chaudhry Abdul Waheed extended warm greetings to the chief guest and lauded Mian Tahir Jamil for his political and social services.
Addressing the gathering, Chaudhry Akram Gujjar emphasized that PML-N in Saudi Arabia is steadily gaining strength under the guidance of the overseas leadership. He highlighted the commitment to assign more organizational responsibilities to the youth in order to further strengthen and energize the party.
In his keynote address, the chief guest Mian Tahir Jamil expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and congratulated the party officials in Saudi Arabia for their efforts in organizing and strengthening the party’s presence. He stated that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the province is on the path of development, while the government is making every possible effort to rehabilitate flood-affected communities. He further noted that overseas Pakistanis are the country’s true asset who always stand by their homeland in difficult times, and appealed for generous contributions toward flood relief efforts.
