ISLAMABAD : Nov 23,2022: The federal government on Wednesday appointed Haji Ghulam Ali, son-in-law of Jamiaat e Ulema Islam Fazal (JUI,-F) Maulana Fazal ur Rehman as Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK).
Haji Ghulam Ali is a renowned businessman. He had been president of Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI), but his real strength is kinship with Maulana Fazal ur Rehman. He has become a member of the Senate on JUI-F strength for his close kinship with its chief.
.NEWSMAN had unearthed the story of Mr Ghulam Ali’s appointment as Governor KPK a few weeks ago.
Since Maulana Fazal ur Rehman is a key partner of sitting coalition government , by grabbing the constitutional post of Governor KPK for his son-in-law , Maulana has basically received his share from Shahbaz led government.
President Arif Alvi endorsed the appointment of Haji Ghulam Ali as KPK Governor on November 23 ( Wednesday).
