iSLAMABAD: Pakistan People Party (PPP) sources on Saturday claimed senator, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, is back again to resume his role as spokesman of the party chairman.
Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar had been a strong voice of PPP in the media and an impressive spokesman of the party chairman for years. He always represented PPP in the media effectively. He was also considered as a new face of the party.
Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar had resigned as spokesman of the party chairman a few days ago.
Since his resignation, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar was not available for media to confirm or reject the news of his resignation.
Sources said Mustafa Khokhar had some issues with media team of Balawal Bhutto Zardari , which he also brought into the notice of the party chairman.
According to the sources, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar had some issues with Aini Mari, younger sister of PPP senior leader and MNA Shazia Mari, that developed feelings in his mind that he was not being kept in the loop on some important party issues that made difficult for him to defend Balawal Bhutto Zardari in the media and for the same reason he opted to discontinue as spokesman of the party chairman.
The party chairman has taken notice of Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar’s resignation and contacted him to resume responsibility as his spokesman.
According to these sources, following Balawal Bhutto Zardari’s personal intervention and assurance to sort out issues that irritate him Mustafa Khokhar has agreed to resume his role again as a spokesman of the party chairman.
