ISLAMABAD : Feb ,16,2023: Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan is a senior leader of Jamaat e Islami (JI) and an affective voice against human violations. He made restless efforts for the release of Member of National Assembly from South Waziristan and Leader of PTM (Pashtun Tahafuz Movement) Ali Wazir from Karachi’s Central Jail after almost 26 months.
PTM leader and MNA ,Wazir Ali, had been in the cells of Karachi jail since December 31, 2020, after being arrested in various sedition cases.
Since his arrest Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan was the only one who had been demanding for Ali Wazir’s production orders.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmad visited Ali Wazir many time in Karachi jail to keep his moral up.
Ali Wazir was brought to the parliament on production orders when to Vote for Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif and right after his vote he was sent behind the Karachi jail once again.
Talking to NEWSMAN Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan told that the court had ordered for the release of Ali Wazir last year on March 14, 2022, but he was linguishing in the jail though there was no case left against him.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan was a continuous voice for the release of Ali Wazir in the Senate and joint sessions which finally resulted in his release on February 14, 2023.
