Sukkur : Jan 28 : Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman, has said that whenever temptations are imposed on the country by bringing temptations from abroad and JUI will stand before them with bare swords.
Fazalur Rehman said “They used to talk about the state of Madinah. These people were brought to destroy the economy and sell Kashmir and they did so’* adding “If they are suffering at this time, why did they talk about sympathy for them?”. He expressed these thoughts while addressing an annual meeting of Madrasa Manzilgah in Sukkur.
In the conference, JUI leaders Allama Rashid Mahmood Soomro, Maulana Abdul Qayyum Halijvi, Allama Nasir Mahmood Soomro, Maulana Muhammad Saleh Andhar, Mufti Saud Afzal. Along with Halijvi, JUI nominated candidate Amir Bakhsh aka Mir Mehr, Mir Mubeen Balu, candidate of Ittihad Jamaat Haji Didar Ali Jatoi and other scholars and leaders attended the conference.
Fazalur Rehman said the parties are entitled to the votes of the people, why do they become silent when the people are suffering from hunger and poverty and then they stand with the oppressors and then how can they deserve the votes and if the people now If the vote slip is used in their favor, then the people should think for themselves where they will stand, so the people should find their new future through voting in a new way. There is an occupier who considers the nation’s wealth as personal property and the poor are oppressed for raising their voice against it”.
He said the people of Sindh have always loved me. They said that freedom is the first priority of Sharia, prosperous economy is the second and raising the voice of the rights of the weaker sections is the third priority of Sharia and JUI’s manifesto is Qur’an and Sunnah. He said that at this time there is talk of general elections in the country, some have thought about voting, some have thought and some are still thinking, so we consider it our duty to give voice to them and convey our message to them. They are fulfilling their duty to inform the people about the country’s situation and the facts on the ground because this people also has to fulfill their duty and please Allah in this world and in the hereafter. The country was established in the name of Islam for Islamic civilization and culture, law and Islamic life system. It has been made a means of reaching power through lies and cunning, which needs to be changed. If we talk about it, we are ridiculed and told that you are fighting for the seat and power, but let us tell you. We want that we are on the path of the Qur’an and Sunnah and we consider the war of power for Islam as a holy jihad. The path to a better economy is in the religion of Islam.
JUI chief said ‘We have to think where we have gone astray. The countries we supported in the past but are not supporting us today”. They said that twenty-five thousand people were martyred in Palestine. Is this not a war crime? Where is the Geneva Convention? Where is the United Nations Charter? Where are those Islamic countries? South Africa is better than us, which has gone to the International Court of Justice on the issue of Palestine. No, if the US foreign minister can reach Tel Aviv and boost the morale of his Jewish soldiers, Maulana Fazlur Rehman can also become a mujahid and go to the Palestinians.
