Peahawar – Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Faisal Karim Kundi, visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta along with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti to inquire about the students injured in the tragic Khuzdar bus attack.

During the visit, Governor Kundi expressed affection and solidarity with the injured children, inquired about their health, and offered prayers for their speedy recovery. He encouraged the injured students, boosting their morale and assuring them of nationwide support.

Hospital authorities briefed the governor and the chief minister on the medical care and treatment being provided to the injured children.

Speaking to the media at CMH Quetta, Governor Kundi stated that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa share the grief of the people of Balochistan over the Khuzdar APS tragedy. “I have come to Quetta to express condolences and solidarity on behalf of the people of my province,” he said.

Earlier, at the Chief Minister’s House in Quetta, Governor Kundi met with Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti and other provincial ministers. He reiterated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also suffered heavily due to terrorist activities sponsored by hostile foreign elements, particularly India. “Our province has faced immense loss, including the APS Peshawar tragedy, where children, armed forces personnel, police officers, and civilians sacrificed their lives,” he said.

He emphasized that the Pakistan Army will soon rid the country of these foreign-backed extremists. “Peace, tolerance, harmony, and unity under the green crescent flag are essential for the survival of our nation and provinces. We must unite to defeat the nefarious designs of anti-state elements,” he added.

A special prayer was also offered for the martyrs of the APS Khuzdar attack and for the speedy recovery of the injured.
