Larkana; elite accused dodge court in triple murder case again

Umme Rubab vows to keep struggle for justice

LARKANA; February 3; Umme Rubab, the daughter of Sindh, on Thursday said the accused in murder of her father and two other family elders were trying to run away from the court of law to avoid delivery of justice, but she would not let them hide or run away. from punishment they are going to have from the court.
She was speaking to media outside the court premises on the absence of the accused from appearing before the Sindh High Court
, which was scheduled to hear the triple murder case.
The accused Pakistan Party Pakistan (PPP) member national assembly (MNA), Sardar Khan Chandio, and his accomplices had murdered father of Umme Rubab and other two her family elders over local enemity.
Sardar Khan Chandio who enjoys great protection from the Sindh administration being an MNA of PPP. He had filed a plea before the Sindh High Court (Larkana bench) against Dadu trial court . The high court heard the case on Thursday. The complainant , Sardar Khan Chandio,. did not appear before the court.
Umme Rubab had appeared before the court of law with her counsel , Salahuddin Panhor. .The court deferred the hearing for February 17, 2022.
Umme Rubab is struggling for the last three years to get justice in triple murder case . However, the accused in the case being political influential, are delaying delivery of justice. The case under debate is a classical example as to how weak the law of this country is when it comes to deal in the case of those who are politically powerful. The question is how long the courts will keep on preferring to be subservient to the elite in this country.
