A nation with no heroes are like a beggar with no self respect. What a shame when I at long last managed to reach Ayaz Khan on my own through another sports coach Rafiq who once coached my son Azeem Effendi in gymnastics on the basis of which he was selected in the gymnastics team of Cadet College Hasan Abdal. Ayaz is the proud father of the proud gold medal winning Pakistani child Ayesha, a Hafiza Quran also, hailing from the city of Mingora in Swat whose achievement stands ignored largely and promises unfulfilled.
The child. Ayesha is presently undergoing medical treatment for the trauma and injury that she suffered due to the recent tough international fight where only her father today is on her side after the society and country to which she belongs largely ignores and abondoned her and it is not the first time we ignore our heroes it is always that our our self interests and inferiority complexes makes us pull legs of our own that makes us fall into the legs of others as beggars with no self pride .
What could be so embarrassing that the PTI Government in KPK especially the Honourable Mehmood Khan himself as Chief Minister promised this brave child a sustenance allowance of Rs. 20, 000 per month, for 6 years to fulfil her nutritional and training beds is not fulfilled for the last 3 years, where her helpless father is still runs from pillar to post that turned him into a shuttlecock in a bureaucratic badminton Court, as if teaching him lesson of endurance whether it is an International champion who matters or the bureaucratic rules that defeats all champions into submission. I wonder how Honourable Imran Khan, himself a sportsman will feel after his own PTI government lets him down in his vision of making the nation stand and fight its way to glory then its own heroes and achievers ignored and abandoned, because either we are busy to beg on the plea of feeding others that turned us into a nation of beggars endlessly going through the vicious cycle of begging business .
