ISLAMABAD; Prime minister, Imran Khan, has said mafias rule in Pakistan’s politics and the same mafias launched a massive campaign for his character assassination through various scandals and fake news to block his entry in the national politics in the last over two decades. The prime minister came -up with these views durimg his online interview with American scholar Hamza Yousaf .
The prime minister spoke on various national and internation issues during the interview. Imran Khan disclosed that he faced serious threats from the mafias that rule Pakistan’s politics, but he continued to struggle as his objective to join politics was much more powerful that the political mafias of Pakistan. He said the political mafias of Pakistan pose as if they were in the politics to serve the nation, but practically the case was otherwise and to plunder the national resources and launder money out of Pakistan. The prime minister said he participated in international cricket for two decades and learnt that when you fail you reassess your position and weaknesses. He reiterated that his government will keep struggling to uplift the poor segement of the society.
He reiterated that the politicians in Pakistan join politics for fame and money, but in sheer contrast when he decided to play a role in the national politics to deliver his social responsibilities he had everything including the fame and wealth. Imran Khan noted that he came across the ruling political mafias when he jouned politics some 22 years ago. Imran Khan said his prime objective for joining the politics was to establish a Madina like Riasat in Pakistan. Imran Khan asserted that he holds the poor dearer than the rich in his real and political life. He argued that its not money and position, but the respect that keeps you honourable in the society. The prime minister said there can not be the use of force in religious matter.
He said the materialistic approach was a major cause of problems in the whole world. Imran Khan said the fear of death also stops human beings from sranding up and struggle against vicious elements.
