ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) on Monday announced to declare Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2020 result on December 16,2020.
A PMC announcement made here on Monday morning reads as ” As per the decision of the Sindh High Court (SHC), the special MDCAT test for students who were tested positive for corona infection is going to be held on December 13,2020 and consolidated result of the entry test for Medical and Dental colleges will be announced on December 16,2020″.
PMC had conducted MDCAT for Medical and Dental Colleges admission in Pakistan on November 29,2020. Around 125000 students had participated in the test. PMC had barred the students having symptoms of corona virus from appearing in the entry test on November 29,2020 to avoid spread of the virus. These students were provided an opportunity to appear in special MDCAT scheduled for December 13,2020. As many as 138 students are appearing in special MDCAT.
Meanwhile, SHC had ordered PMC to announce result of MDCAT held on November 29 and scheduled for December 13,2020 on the same date.
The announcement of MDCAT will help the medical institutions of Pakistan to proceed for next phase of admissions in Medical and Dental Colleges in the country .
