ISLAMABAD- Oct 10 : In a momentous development, the government of Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior has taken resolute action to confront issues pertaining to subpar performance and allegations of corruption within its designations.
This sweeping initiative, conceived with the paramount objective of ushering in transparency and operational efficiency in the domain of administration, has culminated in the consequential removal of a cadre of officers from their esteemed positions of authority.
An office Memorandum dated October 9, 2023, unequivocally proclaims that the services of the following officers are henceforth deemed redundant within the Ministry of Interior:
1. Mr. Khurshid Ahmed, an erstwhile Deputy Secretary (SG/BS-19).
2. Mr. Farhan Ahmad, who formerly held the position of Section Officer (OMG/BS-18).3. Mr. Muhammad Riaz, heretofore a Section Officer (OMG/BS-18).
4. Mr. Abdul Razaq, erstwhile Section Officer (OMG/BS-18).5. Mr. Malik Usman Ahmed, previously occupying the role of Section Officer (OMG/BS-18).6. Mr. Mian Usman Ali Shah, a former Section Officer (OMG/BS-17). These resolute actions have been spurred by reported instances of lackluster performance and troubling allegations of corruption within the hallowed halls of the Ministry.
This orchestrated maneuver is meticulously aimed at rejuvenating and reinvigorating the very structural underpinnings of the administrative apparatus, thereby fostering a landscape that is synonymous with efficiency and unwavering transparency. Notably, the Ministry of Interior has duly beseeched the august Establishment Division to expeditiously identify and appoint individuals of commensurate competence to seamlessly fill the void left by their predecessors, thereby ensuring the unimpeded continuity of official duties and responsibilities. The most commendable of all is the removal of Section Officer Mian Usman Ali Shah, who was illegally appointed as AD investigation FIA although he lacked the basic criterion ordained by FIA authorities. He was shown the door from FIA for his endless sluggish behaviour . Later he became the personal aide of Mr Zulfi Bukhari, the then
Special Assistant to ex PM Imran khan on Overseas Pakistanis.
