Islamabad : After three tense days , mobile services was restored in twin cities of Rawalpindi /Islamabad on Sunday morning .
Although , there is no formal announcement from Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) for calling off its protest, restoration of mobile service is an indication of normalization of the situation in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Other measures like suspension of Metro service and security related strict actions have not been rolled back so for. After restoration of mobile service in twin cities , it seems that things would come to normalcy in few hours.
PTI ‘s protest had resulted in suspension of mobile service , Metro service three days ago. For the last three days, the security was also tightened to stop the protestors from reaching to D-Chawk in Islamabad.
PTI workers were on the roads for the last three days and they had clashes with the police at entry points of the federal capital in a bid to reach to their protest venue -D-Chawk.
According to Interior minister , Mohsin Naqvi , more than 80 policemen suffered injuries in clashes with PTI protestors in the last three days.
Seeing the mood of the protestors , the government had deployed Rangers and military in the federal capital.
