Muzaffarabad : The PML-N has nominated Mushtaq Minhas, Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed and Chaudhry Manzoor as candidates for the elections to be held on October 12, while the PPP has nominated Chaudhry Latif Akbar as a candidate for the fourth seat.
The members of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will cast their votes for the four seats of the Kashmir Council on October 12.
According to the Election Commission, the polling will be held in the Legislative Assembly Hall from 10 am to 1 pm, after which the counting of votes and the results will be announced.
PMLN had won the last general elections for AJK assembly with two, third majority. It also bagged the post of the president of AJK in a easy win . The elections 2026 had held in AJK in three phases. PPP remained the second largest party in AJK elections.
