Islamabad : ,The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has announced the auction of several Bahria Town properties, scheduled to take place on June 12 at 11am at the NAB regional office in Islamabad.
According to a NAB spokesperson, the auction will include prominent properties such as Arena Cinema, Safari Club, Rubeish Marquee and Lawn, Bahria Garden City, Golf Course Bahria Town Islamabad, and the Corporate Office in Phase 2 of Bahria Town.
A special briefing session will also be held at the NAB office for interested buyers prior to the auction.
The initiative is part of NAB’s ongoing efforts to recover assets and ensure transparency through public auctions.
Bahria Town of Malik Riaz , a notorious character of Pakistan who is in the run instead of facing land grabbing and plundering of hundreds of thousands of billions of rupee of public of Pakistan is on the NAB radar. NAB is investigating a number of Bahria Town ‘s corruption and land grabbing cases and in all these cases , Malik Riaz and his son –Ali Riaz– are absconders. Father -son duo was once unannounced king of whealing dealing in Pakistan. Since 2024 both are on the run to avoid their arrest in corruption and looting the public of Pakistan cases. Auction of Bahria Town’s properties by NAB has a message for Malik Riaz and son Ali Riaz that plunderers and cheaters remain untouched for limited time and at the end these characters are held accountable for their misdeeds.
