Islamabad : Oct 31 : Despite reduction in crude oil rates in the international market during the last two weeks , the caretaker government of prime minister , Anwaarul Haq Kakar , has decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products at the current level .
The notification issued by the Finance Division at around mid night on Tuesday said the prices of MS (petrol) and High Speed diesel will remain unchanged for the next two weeks. The government reviews the petroleum products prices after two.weeks again.
As per the notification of the Finance ministry , the prices of MS ( Petrol) remain at Rs 283.38 and the rate of High Speed Diesel (HSD) will remain at Rs 303.18 per litre. However , the government has made nominal reduction in the rates of kerosin. The prices of light 🚄 diesel has also been reduced by Rs 3.20 per litre. Since the international market of oil is going down , the people were hoping a reasonable relief in oil prices for next fortnight , but these hopes of public remained illusive.
