NS narrative brings back humiliation, devastates PMLN

ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif’s narrative of targeting the Pakistan army has started to bring  back severe humiliation for party top leadership particularly for the convicted former prime minister besides leaving his party in limbo.
A number of his partymen has disowned Nawaz Sharif for his rant against the military leadership from United Kingdom and made it clear that they can not be a party to those who want to push forward  agenda of weakening the armed forces of the  country..

  1. Nawaz Sharif has also lost respect as majority of Pakistani people do not trust what he utters in support of his narrative.
No one believes Nawaz Sharif was fighting for real democracy as he claims in his speeches from UK.
Not only ordinary people of Pakistan ,but also his close aides like Sanaullah Zehri of Balochistan and General (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch who had been trusted aides to Nawaz Sharif have left PMLN In protest against Nawaz Sharif’s narrative . These top political figures of Balochistan had decades long association with Nawaz Sharif. They , in fact , were true face of PMLN in Balochistan. These two politically towering figures of Balochistan publically denounced Nawaz Sharif’s narrative. Both General (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch and Sanaullah Zehri came in media against Nawaz Sharif’s narrative and announced they can go along anyone who is campaigning to malign the army. Both Abdul Qadir Baloch and Sanaullah Zehri have resigned from the party.
These resignations have loud and clear message for Nawaz Sharif.  These resignations are of extra ordinary significance and make crystal clear for Nawaz Sharif that hìs narrative of ridiculing the armed forces will bring back more humiliatio to the party , besides further dividing it in coming days .
In Punab many lawmakers of Punjab assembly have already disowned Nawaz Sharif’s narrative and preferred to    become inactive in politics.
The political analyst call Nawaz Sharif’s narrative  disappointing and unfortunate. They are yet to believe that a man who became prime minister of this country for three terms could intentionally target the armed forces of Pakistan.
“I think Nawaz Sharif misread the attitude and love of Pakistani people  for the army and now it’s PMLN which is going to pay its price”, Arshad Abbasi, a political analyst said in his comments on PMLN disintegration.
PMLN supporters also do not agree with Nawaz Sharif’s narrative. Majority of the P.LN workers disagree with Nawaz Sharif over his anti military tirade. They are in a shock over Nawaz Sharif’s  style of politics and want their party leadership should not follow any narrative that can pose threat to the security and safety of the country.
“I have been a voter and supporter of P.MLN for three decades , but can not  believe that our party leadership can malign the armed forces to benefit India or any other enemy country”, Rana Arshad , an Islamabad-based PMLN worker and a traders representative of I-8 Sangam market commented.
