ISLAMABAD : The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has claimed that Pakistan government has agreed to struck of subsidy on fuel and.power.
IMF mission chief for Pakistan , Nathan Porter , issued a statement here on Sunday , which said the talks between IMF and Pakistan have been successful . The statement added that economic reforms and discussion on economic policies of Pakistan were basic agenda points of the on going talks between the two sides . Mr Nathan added that IMF delegation will visit Pakistan in May next for review of its economy. According to Mr Nathan, Pakistan decision of granting subsidy on fuel was a cause of delay in talks with IMF for 7th review of its economy.
