Pakistan Foreign Office condemns in strongest terms Houthis fresh attacks on Saudi Arabia

Islamabad : Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , has condemned Houthis latest attacks on Saudi Arabia , which injured dozens of Saudi nationals ,besides damaging oil facilities of that country.

In his statement posted on X , prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , said
“I condemn in the strongest terms, the cowardly attack by Houthis targeting civilian and energy facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which have left many people injured. Pakistan stands in unwavering solidarity with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia. Such dastardly attacks threaten innocent lives as well as regional peace and security. We reaffirm our steadfast support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, and pray for the swift recovery of all those injured.”

Houthis are testing patience of Saudi and its allies in Mecca Defence Pact for months and targeting Saudi oil infrastructure and other assets. Pakistan Foreign Office has also issued a separate statement and condemned Houthis recent attacks on Saudi Arabia.

The statement said Houthis irresponsible and inflammatory behaviour against Saudi Arabia was a very dangerous development and it could further destablise the Middle East region.

Pakistan is calling upon Houthis to give up its spoilers behaviour to help bring the on-going war in ME to an end. Despite repeated cautions and calls from Pakistan , Houthis are continuing their aggressive posture against Saudi Arabia.
