Rawalpindi : The spokespersons of Pakistan’s armed forces briefed media on operation ” Bunyan Mursoos” and apprised the nation of their achievements in the recent fight against India that lasted for four days. The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) director general , Lt. Gen. Ahamd Sharif Chaudhary , led the briefing. He thanked the nation for extending robust support to their armed forces in 4-day fight against India.
ISPR director general said Pakistan has used very small portion of its huge advanced capability in the recent 4- day fight against India and as we promised the entire world saw the response of Pakistan armed forces . He noted that Pakistan attacked
26 locations in India including airbases , ammunition depots that were Sursa , Pathankot, Uri, Burnala , Sri Nagar , Suratgarh, Adampur, Ontipur, Gen Chaudhary added that Uri network station , Poonch Radar were attacked and destroyed. All Indian posts in illegally occupied Kashmir were destroyed . Pakistan set a great show of courage and professionalism by targeting its targets right from New Delhi and Gujrat in India. Pakistan kept its operations on western border where Indian proxies are operating for terrorism inside Pakistan. He said India ‘s mis adventurism on eastern border was basically a plan of New Delhi to detrack Pakistan’s efforts to nutralise Indian funded terrorists operating from Afghanistan.
He vowed Pakistan has many more surprises for India and they will be unfolded whenever India acts in aggression against Pakistan in the future. ISPR chief also claimed that Pakistan’s forces upheld their promise to give befitting response to India at the time and place of their choice. He thanked the nation, the youth in general , political leadership , government and media of Pakistan to support the armed forces of Pakistan in the time of trial . He said the entire nation worked in unisome that brought a great success to Pakistan against India in the battlefield.
In response to a question Gen. Chaudhary said there was no Indian pilot in Pakistan’s custody and misinformation in this regard was just a social media chatter.
Pakistan Navy Commander briefed the media about role of navy to protect territorial waters of Pakistan . He displayed a number of slides on the board to help the media persons to understand the nature of operation of Pakistan Navy that worked India at bay during the war that started between Pakistan and India with assault of India on Pakistan in the context of Pahalgm on May 6. He also vowed to protect Pakistan’s territorial waters whenever India chooses to challenge Pakistan.
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) deputy chief of operations briefed the media persons on PAF ‘s response to Indian aggression against Pakistan. He said India attacked Pakistan’s civilians in Pakistan. He said anti missile systems worked well and it nuteralised by Pakistan with its GPS system. He said Indian missiles –Barhmose — were destroyed with Pakistan Air Defence System.
He said Pakistan attacked India’s SU -400 Defence System in a precision air attack. To a question , Gen. Chaudhary denied that Pakistan appealed to US for a ceasefire and assorted that it was rather it was India that sought ceasefire.
