RAWALPINDI; Speaker National Assembly , Sardar Ayaz Sadiq , Wednesday visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi, where he visited the soldiers and civilians injured during the recent Pak-India tension.
During his visit, the Speaker National Assembly appreciated the courage, fortitude of the armed forces in defending the country’s borders and their ability to thwart the nefarious designs of the enemy.
He paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the nation’s defenders and innocent civilians who bravely faced Indian aggression. The Speaker National Assembly strongly condemned the unprovoked attacks by the Indian army, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of innocent civilians, including women and children. He reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to establish peace and highlighted the right of the country to defend its sovereignty.
The Speaker prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers and civilians and conveyed the nation’s full support to them. He said, “The entire nation stands in solidarity with our brave forces and steadfast citizens in this difficult time.”
The Speaker of the National Assembly paid tribute to the dedication of the medical staff of CMH Rawalpindi and the provision of the best medical facilities to the injured.
