The Prime Minister is paying this visit on the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman in which it was agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in various fields.
According to the released statement, Shehbaz Sharif invited Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to pay an official visit to Pakistan, which the Crown Prince accepted.
The two leaders reaffirmed the deep, strategic and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended Eid greetings to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman and appreciated the hospitality and services of Hajj pilgrims from all over the world.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif appreciated Saudi Arabia’s proactive role during the recent tensions between Pakistan and India and its firm commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
He highlighted Pakistan’s policy of restraint in confronting Indian aggression and expressed his resolve that lasting peace in South Asia can only be achieved through dialogue.
Shahbaz Sharif thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their remarkable efforts to ensure a safe and spiritual experience of Hajj.
The two leaders also discussed in detail the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. Shahbaz Sharif invited Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to pay an official visit to Pakistan, which the Crown Prince accepted.
It is to be noted that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is in Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit and had also performed Umrah yesterday. The doors of the Kaaba were specially opened for the Pakistani delegation. The Prime Minister and the Army Chief performed Nawafil prayers in the Kaaba along with the delegation and thanked Allah Almighty for the great victory of the Marsus Foundation.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister thanked Saudi Arabia for its wonderful hosting of 2.5 million Pakistanis and said that God willing, Pakistan will prepare more skilled workers for Saudi Arabia who will play an important role in Saudi Arabia’s development program.
