Islamabad : Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , held a warm and most cordial telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince , Mohammad Bub Salman (MBS) on Friday.
According to the Prime Minister Office (PMO) , PM Sharif thanked His Royal Highness for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support for Pakistan’s peace efforts and congratulated him on the signing of the historic Islamabad Peace Deal. His Royal Highness’s wise leadership and the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to regional peace and stability remained vital guiding forces throughout this crisis.
PMO said both leaders agreed that the next phase of negotiations must continue to be guided by a firm commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and vigilance against any attempt to undermine the peace process.
PM Sharif also expressed complete satisfaction at the excellent state of Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations and looked forward to further strengthening our economic partnership under the visionary leadership of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
