RIYADH April.28, 2024 : Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif attended the special dialogue and gala dinner organized by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during the ongoing special session of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh this evening.
During the ceremony, the Prime Minister discussed with the Crown Prince. He congratulated the Saudi leadership for the successful organization of the special session of the World Economic Forum and the excellent arrangements.
Referring to his recent meeting in Makkah during Ramadan, the Prime Minister thanked the Crown Prince for sending a high-level delegation to Pakistan led by Foreign Minister His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah. The delegation held a detailed discussion with their Pakistani counterparts on ways to increase the Saudi investment portfolio in Pakistan.
The prime minister added that he had brought a high-powered delegation to Riyadh, including key ministers responsible for investment, to hold follow-up meetings between relevant officials.
The Prime Minister expressed his prayers and best wishes for the health and longevity of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The regional situation, especially the Gaza crisis, was also discussed in the meeting. The Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to the Crown Prince His Highness Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to pay an official visit to Pakistan as soon as possible.
