PM Shehbaz Sharif to Travel to Saudi Arabia for Middle East Summit

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who returned from the Middle East yesterday, will travel to Saudi Arabia again to attend the upcoming Arab-Islamic summit.

He will arrive in the Kingdom on November 10 for the important meeting scheduled for November 11, which will focus on critical issues facing the Middle East.

The summit will address the current situations in Palestine, Lebanon, and other regional matters, with leaders from Islamic countries expected to present their proposals for resolution.

In recent remarks, PM Shehbaz described Qatar as his “second home,” expressing gratitude to Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for the invitation to visit.

During his time in Doha, he acknowledged the significance of the exhibition “Manzar: Pakistan Art and Architecture 1940 to Today,” emphasizing its role in highlighting the cultural ties between Pakistan and Qatar.

He praised the exhibition for reflecting the strong bonds between the two nations and congratulated overseas Pakistanis in Qatar on its inauguration. Additionally, PM Shehbaz commended Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar for his significant efforts in ensuring the event’s success.

Throughout his visit, he underscored Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, noting that the Qatar Museum is instrumental in advancing cultural diplomacy.
