GUJRAT / ISLAMABAD :The 43rd anniversary of Pakistan’s prominent political leader, Chaudhary Zahoor Elahi, was observed with special prayers organized across the country. To pay homage to late Chaudhary Zahoor Ealhi ‘Quran Khawani’ was held at Zahoor Palace in Gjurat. On this occasion, floral petal were showered on the grave of Chaudhary Zahoor Elahi. The members of Chaudhary family and workers of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) participated in ‘Quran Khawani; at Zahoor Palace. PML-Q Sindh and other provincial chapters of the party organized Dua and Quran Khawani at respective party secretariat.
Chaudhary Zahoor Elahi is a tall name in Pakistan’s politics. He built up an industrial empire. His services as a philanthropist are always remembered in Pakistan. Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain followed footsteps of his late father, Chaudhyary Zahoor Elahi, in moving forward industrial empire of his family , besides earning more political popularity for his family. As a result of untiring efforts of Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain, he and his brothers have earned the status of Chaudhary of Gujrat.
PMLQ central Information secretary, Ghulam Mustafa Malik, Member National Assembly, Farah Khan, president Sindh PMLQ Tariq Hasan, President Balochistan Shakil Roshan, KPK president, Intakhab Khan, president Gilgit Baltisitan, Dilfraz Khan and other party leaders paid rich tribute to Chaudhary Zahoor Elahi for playing a multifaceted role in Pakistan’s development and prosperity. Ghulam Mustafa Malik on this occasion said Chauhdary Zahoor Ealhi fought against oppressive forces with well devised strategy. He added that PMLQ will continue to follow the politics of service to people and Pakistan.
Miss Farah Khan and Dr Amjad said PMLQ is ‘Ameen’ of the politics of humanity and patriotism. They said Chaudhary Zahoor Elahi became a symbol of truth and honesty and PMLQ will follow his golden principles to keep serving the people of Pakistan.
