Islamabad : Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q,) chief and ex-premier , Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain , has said the passage of The Property Act 2024 would safeguard the rightful properties of overseas Pakistanis.
In a statement , Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain added that under The Property Act 2024 , special courts will be set up which will decide the cases of Oversees Pakistanis in 90 days .
Ex-premier and PML-Q chief argued that The Property Act 2024 passed by the parliament is a historic development which will save Oversees Pakistanis from land grabbers and other mafias and give them sense of protection regarding their immoveable assets in Pakistan.
PML-Q chief said he, as a federal minister , started the process of making the law of setting up special courts to protect the properties and other assets in Pakistan, which remained incomplete for long and now his son and federal minister , Chaudhary Saalik Hussain , has completed this process that led to passing of The Property Tax Bill 2024 for which Chaudhary Saalik Hussain and his ministry both deserve appreciation.
He argued that The Property Act 2024 provides that oversees Pakistanis will get the facility of online video links through respective embassies for any case of land grabbing or other immoveable assets in Pakistan.
He termed Oversees Pakistanis as a great asset of Pakistan and vowed to protect their rights under the new law . He said PML-Q will keep on working to ensure protection of the interests of Oversees Pakistanis.
