PTI long march attacked in Wazirabad , Imran Khan six other injured

Imran Khan, other injured shifted to Lahore

Waziranad ( Pakistan ) : Nov 3,2022: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chairman and a number of his other party leaders have injured in a firing incident here.

An unidentified person who was among the crowed of the long march fired at the PTI leaders including Imran Khan when they were standing at a container .

According to details , the PTI long march came under firing on its way from Waziranad to Gujrat on its 7th day after its start from Lahore last week .

Wazirabad is a tehsil city of Gujranwala district some 275 km in South East of Islamabad .

The firing apparently was aimed at PTI chairman and other senior PTI leadership.

An eye witness said PTI chairman Imran Khan, former Governor Sindh , Imran Ismael and senator Faisal Javed and Ahmad Chatha were injured in the firing .
Ahmad Chatha is a young leader of PTI from Waziranad and a son of heavy weight political figure, Hamid Nasir Chatha.

According to the eye witness, the crowed caught a man in dark black dress who allegedly fired at Imran Khan and other senior PTI leadership with a pistol.

PTI chairman Imran Khan and other injured were shifted to the local hospital for treatment .

The man who was caught by the crowed for allegedly firing at PTI leaders while they were standing on the container was later handed over to the elite police for investigations.

Later , Imran Khan and other injured were shifted to Lahore for treatment .

PTI senior leader, Fawad Hussain Chaudhary , later confirmed to the media that Imran Khan was among injured in firing .

A PTI workers who soon after the firing incident sent a video from his cell phone while standing on the container could be seen saying that Imran Khan was not among injured and was 100% safe.

Fawad Chaudhary and Imran Ismael made emotional speech to the long march after the firing incident and later announced end of 7th day of the long march

PTI leaders told the participants of the long march to wait for future line of action regarding long march.
