Rawalpindi : May 17 ,2024 :The Department of School Education has announced the annual summer vacations from June 1 to August 14.
The Department of School Education Punjab has issued a notification for summer vacations. The educational activities will start in schools across the province from August 15. To protest the school students from scorching heat the Punjab government has also changed the timings of schools. School hours across the province have been changed from 7 am to 11:30 am from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while school hours on Fridays school timings will be from 7 am to 11 am. The Education Department Punjab has given orders to the concerned officers across the province that fans should be made operative in all classes besides having water coolers for drinking in schools. Other than these measures the students are not allowed to go to open spaces or parks during school timings.
