Islamabad : April 9,2024: The Central Raut e Hilal committee headed by Maulana Abdul Kabir on Tuesday evening announced that the Shawaal moon has been sighted and Eidul Fitr will be celebrated in Pakistan on Wednesday. Alongside the meeting of the Central Raut e Hilal committee , the zonal committees also met at the zonal offices in Lahore , Karachi , Peshawar and Quetta to collect evidence of moon sighting . Since Tuesday evening was bit cloudy in most parts of Pakistan , Raut e Hilal committee took extra time to confirm evidences of moon sighting and Central Raut e Hilal committee chairman , Maulana Abdul Kabir , made final announcement of moon sighting of Shawaal at around quarter past eight . Pakistanis are celebrating Eidul Fitr with Arab countries on April 10. Generally , Pakistan celebrate Eidul Fitr with a gap of one day to Arab countries.
