ISLAMABAD : Sept 20 : Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, has said that reports of India’s involvement in extrajudicial killings in Canada prove that India’s extraterritorial killings have now spread all over the world,
Answering a question in weekly media briefing in Islamabad, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said India’s secret agency “RAW” has been conducting disappearances and killings in South Asia for several decades.
The spokesman said that Pakistan has also been a victim of target killing and espionage by “RAW”.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said Pakistan released a comprehensive document in December last year which provides concrete and irrefutable evidence of India’s involvement in the Lahore attack.
The attack was carried out and planned by India’s secret service. The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said in 2016, a senior Indian military officer, Commander Kulbhushan Yadav, admitted to financing and operating terrorism in Pakistan and being involved in disruptive activities.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said the killing of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil is a clear violation of international law and the United Nations principles of state sovereignty. “There is also a question mark over India’s credibility as a reliable international partner”, she noted.
In response to another question about the statements made by the Indian civil and military leadership against Pakistan, she said that Pakistan is fully capable of defending itself as it defended itself in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
The spokesman said that Pakistan strongly condemns the recent attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque by an extremist group under the supervision of the Israeli occupation forces.
Pakistan has reiterated its appeal to the international community to take concrete action to stop Israel’s activities for the sake of peace, security and stability in the Middle East and other regions.
