Renowned social worker Zara Khan urges govt to allow duty-free import of modern machinery

Says we need to work hard to steer Pakistan out of current economic mess

Dhebaji (Thatha). Feb 16, 2023: Renowned social worker , Ms Zara Khan, has demanded of the government to make advance wire technology duty free to facilitate Pakistanis to enter into a new era of modern technology.

Talking to Amin Farooqui , our special correspondent , Ms Zara Khan said on Thursday that Pakistan is lagging behind to other competitors in the field of technology and it was a duty of the government to provide a conducive atmosphere to those companies which have expertise in new technology like wire technology to transfer their technology to Pakistan. She added that in today’s world modern technology was a key to progress and property.

Ms Zara Khan noted that the government should rise above to all interests and facilitate the people to have modern technology. She said the use of modern technology was a must for economic stability, progress and stability of Pakistan. She argued that the government should encourage overseas Pakistanis to facilitate them by making duty free machinery so that they could invest in Pakistan and make it sound economically.Ms Zara Khan maintained that Pakistan was facing economic difficulties and it was duty of every Pakistan to play a role to steer the country out of current economic crisis.
