ISLAMABAD; Jan 9,2023: Thar Jeep Rally was won by Sahibzada Sultan on final day of the Thrilled Relief Jeep Rally in Tharparkar. The pre-paired category competitions were completed.
The biggest race of the event was won by Sahibzada Sultan, he covered the distance of the racing track in 1 hour 8 minutes and 35 seconds.
In the B category, Nauman Saranjam was declared the winner by completing the distance in 1 hour 5 minutes and 41 seconds.
In the C category, Syed Zaheer completed the distance in one hour, 10 minutes and 39 seconds.
In the D category, Shakeel Ahmed covered the distance in one hour, 15 minutes and 33 seconds.
In the women’s pre-paired category, only Mahim Shiraz covered the track distance in 1 hour 24 minutes 28 seconds. 45 cars took part in the stock race, in which Diana Patel, a woman, along with her co-driver Ronnie Patel, also took part in the women’s category.
In the A category of this event, Muhammad Bilal Chaudhry won the first position in the race by covering a long distance in one hour, 15 minutes and 21 seconds.
Mohammad Shehzad covered this distance in one hour 16 minutes and 55 seconds while Rashid Hussain was declared as the second and third position after covering this distance in one hour 17 minutes and 24 seconds.
In the B categories, Uzair Watsi crossed the track in 1 hour 19 minutes 50 seconds, Ryan Khalil in 1 hour 21 minutes 38 seconds and Mehrwan Patel in 1 hour 21 minutes 51 seconds and secured the first, second and third positions respectively.
In C category Falk Sher clocked 1 hour 23 minutes and 46 seconds, Mir Bir Barg clocked 1 hour 24 minutes 53 seconds while Jahanzeb Imrani clocked this distance in 1 hour 25 minutes and 53 seconds and took the first, second and third positions.
Apart from this, in the D category competitions, Jameel Ahmadani won the race in 1 hour 22 minutes 6 seconds, Hussain ul Haque in 1 hour 26 minutes 23 seconds and Shahfil Mazari in 1 hour 27 minutes 16 seconds. Got second and third position.
Manzoor Hussain, the winner of the local category, covered this distance in 1 hour 46 minutes 8 seconds.
Diana Patel, the only woman in the women’s category, crossed the distance in one hour, 48 minutes and 56 seconds to win the title.
