Sucked to death

These pictures shared by a Professor from the University of Engineering Peshawar, shows the precarious water crisis in Cholistan. The honey bees shown here tries to find a drop to drink from the dried water pipes, the same bees whose existence provide us food not as honey alone but cross pollination of crops , yet we are heartless to heed their sufferings and painful slow death because we are selfish knowing we have enough to live, others are non of our business
The other picture of the helpless farmer mourning death of his only goat raising his hands to the heaven for rain must be giving the Creator a frown to look at the inhumanity of his humans, who leaves no stone unturned to exploit his message for worldly gains but never feel for the sufferings of others that remain the real spirit of the divine revelations.
It is shameful that such crises are altogether ignored by the main stream media who sells us religious scholars like Honourable Dr. Amir Liaquat Hussain preach us religion and politics of morality but now finds himself in the hot water for preaching us what he never practised but was glorified by the Media that never focuses on the real issues of the public interest and their sufferings as long as they don’t suffer financially.
While the triumphant Pakistani Prime Minister is away to England to pay his respects to his fugitive brother as both are projected on the public buses with their pictures as Pakistani leadership of the emerging Pakistan while both incapable to survive an hour even with water under the normal sun being so pampered how can they ever feel the sufferings of their fellow countrymen who are not privileged because the state pays the privileged by robbing the under privileged of their right to basic necessities despite being the primary responsibility of the state.
To avoid electricity shortfall for political popularity millions of liters of fuel are transported to be consumed for power generation and another millions for transportation but not a single boozer of water sent to Cholistan to help them survive in these difficult drought conditions till it rains and their own water aquifers recharged by the nature to restore their eco – system.
Our biggest tragedy as a nation is our resilience to suffer in silence, a fact well known to both the politicians and the state that continue to suck every drop of blood from of the nation till death carelessly , irresponsibly and shamelessly knowing their official entitlement to all the luxuries is to serve democracy then people, that remains biggest the joke and sham in a shameless society.
