RAWALPINDI: July 6,2023: Three soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred and three innocent civilians were also injured as a result of a suicide blast in Miran Shah area of North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, on July 23, a suicide bomber blew himself up in Miran Shah, an urban area of North Waziristan district.
As a result of the blast, 41-year-old Naib Subidar Sahib Khan from Mianwali, 40-year-old Naik Muhammad Ibrahim from Dera Ismail Khan and 24-year-old soldier Jahangir Khan from Mardan were martyred while three innocent civilians were also injured. .
According to ISPR, the aim of the suicide bomber was to target the security forces post, but the soldiers on duty got suspicious and showed courage and stopped the suicide bomber in time and saved the area from major destruction. .

Spokesman of Pakistan Army said that 29-year-old soldier Gul Rauf from Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 23-year-old soldier Abidullah from Karak district were martyred as a result of the improvised explosive device blast.
Security forces had earlier shot dead a key militant commander and two of his associates during an intelligence-based operation in Dara Adamkhel area of Kohat district on June 18.
