Islamabad, May 04, 2026: A shining new B737 freighter aircraft in bold red and white livery arrived today to an enthusiastic welcome at the Karachi Airport. To be operated by TCS on domestic and regional routes, the delivery flight was accorded a water-gun salute and was received in person by Nadir Shafi Dar, Director General, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority; and Khalid Awan, Chairman TCS Group along with the company’s leadership team.
The event marks a milestone as the aircraft, bearing the tagline ‘Shaping New Trade Routes,’ is designed to serve high-volume, time-sensitive freight corridors, dramatically reducing transit times for Pakistan’s exporters and importers while creating new commercial pathways previously unavailable domestically.
With a dedicated freighter in operation, TCS can now offer increased cargo capacity on priority trade lanes, faster clearance cycles through direct freight control, competitive freight rates, enhanced cold-chain and express freight solutions for perishables and high-value goods.
TCS has signaled that the inaugural aircraft is the first step in a phased fleet expansion. For Pakistan’s small and medium enterprises, TCS promises to democratize access to air freight in a way that has never before been available domestically.
