ISLAMABAD: In a declaration issued here on Monday, Ulema and Mishiakh strongly condemned ill-founded allegations of the opposition parties against Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf PTI), in particular, prime minister, Imran Khan.
The declaration said ” It has been noted with utmost concern that some political parties were intentionally issuing highly irresponsible statements and hurling ill-founded accusations agsinst PTi leadership that can cause loss to Kashmir issue”.
It added ” This congregation of Ulema and Mishiakh demands of the opposition parties to stop issuing irrespinsible statements about Kashmir issue just to misguide the masses in Kashmir for political milage in the election campaign forthwith”.
The declaration also endorsed efforts being made by prime minister, Imran Khan, to highlight Kasmir issue according to the aspirations of the Kashmi people at every internatiinal fora including United Nations .
It noted with satisfaction that the PTI government was making every possible effort for economic revival of the country .
The declaration highlighted the issue of religious harmony and noted that this gathering of Ulema and Mishiakh calls upon all sects to respect each other’s belief and discourge any move or incident meant to disrespect the followers of any other sect.
A large number of Ulema and Mishikh hailing from all parts of Jummu and Kashmir participated in the convention .
Dr Pir Ali Raza Bukhari presided over the convention.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter faith harmony, Pir Noorul Haq Qadri participated in the convention as a chief guest.
Addressing the convention, Pir Noorul Haq Qadri said PTI government has highlighted Kashmir issue at UN and other international fora and presented the Kashmir issue to give better understanding to the world community about Kashmir problem.
He noted that Imran Khan is a real leader who told the wold leaders that Pakistan will not accept Indian givernnent action of repealing 370 Article of Indian constitution and that Pakistan will have talks with India if it goes back to pre- August 5, 2020 position regarding Kashmir status.
The minister said PTI is all set to win elections of July 25, 2021 as majority of Kashmiris agree to the policy of Imran Khan on Kashmir.
Earlier, Dr Pir Ali Raza Bukhari, Amjad Afridi and many other prominent Ulema and Mishikh also addressed the convention and assured their full support to PTI candidates in Kashmir elections.
