US , Iran confirm peace agreement signing in 24 hours

PM Sharif had hinted at peace deal in 24 hours

Islamabad : Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , on Saturday said “We are closer to a peace deal than ever before. With finalisation likely expected in the next 24 hours”,

An announcement made by Prime Minister Office (PMO) said “Pakistan is preparing for the electronic signing of the peace deal immediately after, followed by technical level talks next week”.

PM Sharif further said “We would like to thank United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran for their ongoing commitment during the negotiations, and we extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in the region for their support. We are confident that this historic peace deal will form a strong foundation for lasting peace”.
PMO tagged key stakeholders to Iran-US conflict in his message including US president , Donald Trump , VP , JBD Vance , Secretary , Robio , Steve Witkoff ,k, Iranian President , Dr Pezeshkian and others.

Pakistan is struggling for a peaceful solution to the Middle East (ME) crisis. It hosted a very important round of talks between Iran and US in Islamabad last month. Pakistan leadership (Political and military) visited every important country across the globe to make Iran -US final agreement possible.

In a related development , Qatar PM and FM , His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani called PM Shahbaz Sharif , to discuss Iran-US peace deal scenario.

A message issued by PMO here said
Prime Minister ,Shehbaz Sharif, received a telephone call from His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister & Foreign Minister of the State of Qatar, this afternoon.

During their warm and cordial conversation, the Prime Minister conveyed his warm greetings and good wishes to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar as well as to the brotherly people of Qatar. These sentiments were reciprocated by the Qatari Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister expressed his deep appreciation for Qatar’s strong and steadfast support for Pakistan’s peace efforts throughout the Gulf crisis and stated that a peace deal was ready for signatures by the relevant parties very shortly.

While sincerely appreciating Pakistan’s remarkable efforts for peace, the Qatari Prime Minister paid tribute to the Prime Minister and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for playing an instrumental role in steering the diplomatic efforts. He assured the Prime Minister that Qatar was proud to extend its support to Pakistan’s endeavors and hoped that this would bring lasting peace to the region.

The Prime Minister also reiterated his invitation to His Highness the Amir of Qatar to undertake an official visit to Pakistan very soon, as was agreed between the two leaders. Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact in the coming days.
