KHUSHAB: Khushab is a land of pures. Its people are hardworking and straight forward and simple both in lifestyle and day- to- day living. They love to take active part in national politics.
It’s gereral election or any local bodies elections, they take part in polls with full interest.
Khushab is known for many unusual achievements in different areas of life. It produced high quality writers, intellectuals and politicians who contributed in national building in a big way.
Historically, two major brotheries …Tawana and Malik awan… dominate in local politics.
Malik Khuda Bux Tawana and Malik Naeen Awan are two big names who represented Khushab in national politics and left behind a legacy of healthy politics for their next generations.
Sumaira Malik comes from Malik Awan brothery and she too played a viberant role in Pakistan’s politics in recent past.
Malik Ihsan Tawana is member national assembly currently to keep Tawana brothery’s name in Khushab’s politcs afloat.
The people of Khushab pay huge respect to each other and also love to be gracious and civilized in their life.
Khushab has a population of 1.2 million and it produces a sizeable agro produce to help Pakistan meet its demand of major crops like wheat, sugarcane, maize and other lentals.
Khushab is a major salt market in Asia. Its blessed with other mineral deposits also.
Holding peaceful by- poll in PP 84 has established many healthy trends, besides endorsing that the people of Khushab are democratic and they use their right of vote in a sober manner.
The credit of holding a free, fair and transparent by- election in PP 84 Khushab goes to all concerned authorities like Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), law enforcing agencies like police and Rangers which remained on toes to ensure for whole day fearless election and provided condusive environment to the voters to vote in a free and peaceful environment.
The local administration remained active throughout the day to make sure that no untoward incident takes place during votingx.
District Police Officer (DPO) , SSP Muhammad Naveed, did excellent job to ensure foolproof security to the voters to help them cast vote in a fair, free environment.
ECP also made excellent arrangements to encourage voters to come to the polling stations and cast votes according to their will. ECP also made nice arrangements for journalists to help them report results of the poll in time.
Well done everybody to grace Khushab with a free, fair and transparent by -poll in PP 84.
