This picture of the insignia of the British Regiments who slaughtered the natives who stood up for their freedom still adorn the mighty cliffs running parallel to the gorge that leads to the Pak – Afghan border at Torkham in Khyber that makes Peace still a distant dream both for the country and the countrymen.

I am puzzled what to wish my beloved Pakistan and Pakistanies for the new year when there is no peace there can’t be any progress and prosperity, the sole reason of our economic and political stagnation that makes every Pakistani baffled as what surprise the future will hold in the year ahead.
