Rawalpindi : Jan 9, 2024 : Azmat Ali Mubarak, a candidate for NA-57 from Pakistan Awami League Rawalpindi, advocate said that leaders of political parties need to include climate issues in the manifesto.
Talking to the friends of the environment in the meeting chaired by Saeedullah Khan, he said that as long as the people involved in polluting the environment continue to support the politicians, the climate crisis will continue. Political parties to answer how cities can be green, Azmat Ali Mubarak has emerged as the ‘green’ candidate for the upcoming general elections from National Assembly 57 Rawalpindi. Their manifestos included water security and supply, waste management, inspiring faith in climate action, parks and recreation and community-based initiatives, as well as wildlife and animal care. The manifesto is being delivered door to door.
