ISLAMABAD: After malaciois attack on Pakistan’s security institution in Gujranwala Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) public rally , things are likely to get bad to worse for Sharif dynasty and Pakistan Muslim League PML N .
Sources said the government has held an important meeting on October 17, 2020 to take stock of the situation arising after Nawaz Sharif’s blatant attack on Pakistan’s top security leadership in Gujrawala PDM public rally.
“Now enough is enough and Nawaz Sharif will be not be allowed to castigate the military institution any more”, Prime minister, Imran Khan, was quoted as saying while presiding over the meeting .
The top political aides to the prime minister and senior PTI leaders attended the meeting.
“Now you will see more arrests in coming days as the government is going for zero tolerance for those who are intentionally maligning the military institution”, a participant of the meeting.told this correspondent on the condition of anonymity.
Nawaz Sharif had blatantly attacked the top military leadership during his address to Gujranwala public gathering.
Nawaz Sharif’s address to the Gujranwala public gathering had come as a surprise for the most of PDM leadership ,which was present on the stage.
Maryam Nawaz visibly seemed perturbed after her father’s tirade against the security establishment. She remained disturbed throughout her address to the participants of Gujranwala public gathering and it was noted by the participants.
According to the sources PPP chairman Balawal Bhutto has also expressed displeasure over Nawaz Sharif’s ‘anti state’ speech.
Sources said the prime minister came hard on the opposition after the meeting to give it a clear message that its campaign to maligning the security establishment will not be spared.
The prime minister had come hard on the opposition on October 17,2020 in an address to the public gathering, warning it of strict action against Sharifs and his party.
Now its time for Nawaz Sharif to pay for anti-establishment rant
