ISLAMABAD: The government has appointed members/directors of the National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) board of directors for a period of three years.
A formal notification to this effect has also been issued. The federal cabinet had approved appointment of board of directors in its meeting held on August 17, 2021.
The appointees included four ex-offico members/ directors including secretary Economic Affairs Division , secretary Finance Division , secretary ministry of Climate Change and sectary ministry of Planning, Development.
Other members included Dr Abid Qayyum Suleri Executive Director, SDPI, Jahanzeb Khan, Ms Nadia Rehman, Sarfraz A Rehman and Ali Tauqeer Shaikh.
