PIA ready to airlift Pakistani students from Ukraine

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has initiated a plan to pull out Pakistani students studying in Ukrainian universities and now stuck up in that country due to Russian invasion.
According to the official information , around 2000 Pakistani students have stuck up in Ukraine due to Russia -Ukraine war
PIA spokesman, Mr Samir Mirza, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) chief executive officer, Air Martial Arshad Malik contacted Pakistan’s ambassador to Ukraine, Lt General (R) Noel Khokhar , and offered him PIA service to evacuate Pakistani students who were stuck up in Ukraine due to the war.
As per evacuation plan, PIA will make emergency flights to evacuate Pakistani students from Ukraine and bring them back to Pakistan .
The PIA CEO said the national flag carrier has made a standby arrangement to send Boeing 777 flights to airlift Pakistani students who were stuck up in the war being fought by Russia and Ukraine. As per the plan , Pakistani students will assemble in Turnoble city of Ukraine and then they will be transported to Poland and from Poland , PIA special flights will airlift Pakistani students and bring them back home .
PIA CEO , Arshad Malik, told local media that PIA was ready for special emergency flights to Poland to evacuate Pakistani students from the war zone and the evacuation operation will commence as soon as Pakistani students reach Poland.
When contacted, PIA spokesman Samir told NEWSMAN on Friday that PIA was making arrangements for special flights to Poland to airlift Pakistani students stuck up in Ukraine due to Russia- Ukraine war.
