ISLAMABAD :. The ministry of Religious Affairs has issued an update on Haji operation 2022. According to an official hand out issued by, Mr Omar Butt, spokesman of the ministry here on Thursday , under government Hajj scheme 16819 Pakistani pilgrims have reached holy city of Madina through 60 flights and it also completed the process of Pakistani pilgrims to reach Madina . According to the latest update from Madina , 4800 Pakistani pilgrims have been transported from Madina to Mecca.
The ministry handout also confirmed that 296 Pakistani pilgrims have been excluded from Hajj process after detected positive in PCR test in Madina.
Director Hajj Madina , Zia Ur Rehman ,while talking to APP said the staff of the Hajj Directorate in Madina has been issued standing direction to prefer services to the pilgrims in Madina over all other activities including their rest and routine break from duty. He said the pilgrims were being facilitated round the clock during their stay in Madina, besides providing them quality foods three times a day , air conditioned transport facility from hotels to holy mosque so that they could offer prayers at holy mosque in Madina besides visiting other sites situated in Madina . He said Hajj Directorate in Madina take prompt action on any complaint related to food , transport or any other facility .
