ATC Grants Bail to Imran Khan’s Sisters in Terrorism Case
ISLAMABAD, October 25, 2024: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) granted bail on Friday to Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, the sisters of incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan.
During the hearing, ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain approved the bail applications in a case registered against the sisters at Kohsar police station under terrorism charges related to recent PTI protests. The court set the bail against surety bonds of Rs 20,000 each.
The court ordered their release after they had been detained since October 4.
