Islamabad : Pakistan cricket team again failed to rise to the occasion against India in much anticipated game of T20 world cup 2026 played in the Premedasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo , Sri Lanka.
Pakistan bagged humiliating defeat against India by 61 runs in this high voltage match as from Captain Salman Ali Agha to bowlers and batters all seemed indifferent to the game. Every one of Pakistani team seemed throwing the game like no one in cricket can do.
Pakistan won the toss and captain Salman Ali Agha , opted to bowl first . His two decisions-of bowling first after winning the toss and then not introducing Usman Tariq in the first 10 overs when Indian batters , in particular , Ishan Kishan, was thrashing Pakistani bowlers , played a major role in Pakistan’s defeat in Sunday’s match. India played a well-thought and planned game. Pakistan, on the other hand , seemed playing half -heartedly . Agha’s XI neither had any plan nor any one of the bowlers and batters realized that it was playing highly anticipated match against India after a long standoff and Pakistani public was expecting good game from it this time.
One also wonders why the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is picking up Babar Azam in such a high voltage match? PCB chief , Mr Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistani team managers probably have yet to understand that Babar Azam is not made for a fast game of cricket like T20. PCB and Pakistani team managers too probably do not have any realization that losing to India time and again in such high voltage matches is demoraling Pakistani nation as a whole.
No one except Salman Agha can prefer Shadab Khan and Ibrar over Tariq Usman , whom India was citing as a big threat publically , when a set batter like Ishan Kishan was hitting 6s and 4s on every ball.
PCB chief , Mr Mohsin Naqvi , and others , who are preferring Babar Azam over other hard hitting players like Fakhar Zaman , must listen to wailings of Pakistani fans over Pakistan’s yet another defeat against India.
One can hear , Pakistani female fan’s demand over this latest defeat from India “In Sub ko Bahar Nakalo” . This is painful that PCB bigwigs are using rotton stuff like Babar Azam and Salam Agha for losing every crucial match like one on Sunday in Colombo in Sri Lanka.
No country except Pakistan can afford Salman Ali Agha like captain who always fails to read CREAZE that ultimately brings defeat to Pakistan in major clashes of cricket world.
PCB chief , Mr Mohsin Naqvi , should take a pause and listen at least wailings of Pakistani fans over Pakistan’s defeat against India in Colombo on Sunday.
PCB should also sack foreign coaches and hire locals . Pakistan has great cricketers like Wasim Akram and Waqar Yunus for coaches’ job .
